9/11/09 Finish Share, N.M.
I got up ready to get things done. And I did. What I'm especially proud of is that I finished my share for the book on Bapuji. I think it will inspire people who read it. Also, I had the chance to contemplate my own experience and why it's so precious to me.
I called Ricky. He did not pick up and he didn't call me back. He has a really hard time taking responsibility for what he creates. I asked him (message) how he would like to be treated as he treated us. I reminded him that he promised it would be finished before last Christmas.
I talked to my neighbor, Belinda. He daughter just had a baby girl. So cool. Anyway, she and her husband have the ability to look at my carpet and tell me what's still wrong. That way I don't have to nag Bobby anymore.
At N.M. MKate told cat stories. One of her fav cats was Charlie. Charlie found me when I was teaching yoga in Zionsville. I so loved that salon where the moon poured into the windows. He came up to me and "said" --take me home. At the time, the cat had no name. I loved him, but Em was living with us at the time and she was very allergic to him. What to do. I wasn't going to take him to the pound.
MKate took him and her son loved him at first sight. He wanted to give him a name that pleased him (the cat). So he was walking back and forth and the cat was following him saying names--finally he said Charlie and the cat went, "meow." He hadn't said a word for the other names.
N.M was slow tonight. We worked with whoever came in but . . . not many people came in. Hopefully Sunday will be busy.
