7/5/09 Lunch with Ann and Luke

It's Wednesday.  I always have mixed feeling on the second Wed.  The season is coming to a close along with my vacation in the mountains.

The one thing I won't regret is getting back to our kingsized bed.  Honestly,  the only way I can get any sleep is after Luke gets up for the morning.  The beds here are not meant for two.  So I have to start my morning late.  Oh well,  I remind myself ,  I like to live this way and I am on vacation.

Wednesday in the second week is lunch with Ann day.  Luke comes with us but usually has to do some chores before he gets to sit down and eat.  That's when Ann and I gossip and tell secrets.  Yes.  Secrets and no I won't tell.  We have our own version of U.S.  magazine.

Then Luke sits down and we share information.  We haven't seen each other in a year,  so there is a lot to tell.

Suddenly one of Luke's fans came over to our table.  It turned out that she is the mom of the young man who sang last night.  We got to talking and she shared some of his health concerns.  I was able to turn her towards Edo's oils and Dr Pearl's healing work.

We had a lot in common and were enjoying our conversation so much that we are going to try and get together again on Saturday--at least for a cup of coffee.  I know that we'll keep in touch.
Tonight there is no concert.  It's the annual string players party.  I don't usually like to go to this party--not because I don't like the people,  I do.  I'd just rather take a break and rest and I think it's best for Luke as well.   If the party is held outside as planned,  I won't have to.  But,  it's cold, cold this morning.  They may have to bring the party inside and then we might go.  We'll see.
