7/21/09 Hair, Bank, CVS, Hatha Yoga

I can't find my keys and I am almost late for my hair appointment.  Through the flow Eunice is working on Luke when I come in 15 minutes late.  And where were the errant keys?  Stuffed in a black plastic bag.  I promised myself I would never do this again.  My keys have a place.  I hope this is the last time I stick my car keys where they don't belong.

As always it's a fun time.  Eunice thinks that my baby bird might have been a red tailed owl.  That would be so cool.  Eunice is an outdoors person and she creates magic landscapes and knows about animals.  Cher tells me about her granddaughter's wedding.  It sounds like fairy land with tiny lights and lanterns making the outdoors sparkle.  Her granddaughter bought a $1,000 cake.  And the baker doesn't deliver or put the cake together.  Cher said that her granddaughter loved it and was totally pleased but she thought the taste was average.  I thought about Rain and Ryan's amazing,  delicious wedding cake.  We went to a little home bakery near the airport.  I mean it was so yummy that I wish I could give a party and have her make me a cake.  I think I've got her name somewhere.

Of course let's not forget Bev and Jeff's wedding cake.  That was so good.  So yummy.  Enfact if I can come home from Bear Valley 5 lbs thinner,  I'll go back and get another meal at Capri's and maybe share another slice of cake.  Maybe I'll go with the gramma's club and we can all get just a few bites.

My hair came out great and so did Luke's.  So we'll look cute for our trip.

I got to 86th and Michigan and knew I did have time for the bank.  No rushing around tomorrow when I need to be doing other things.  I also went to CVS.  Too bad that I forgot the plastic bags.  Now one of us has to go back and get them.  Errrg.

I got home in time to work on the computer for awhile.

Oh here's a big secret.  I'm feeling the healing energy.  I really am.  It's made me feel differently about my body and about life.  More on this later.  I may have a secret to share soon.

All the gang were together for the last class in this semester--Bev and Jeff,  Matt,  April,  MKate and I.  But . . . and this is interesting . . . . I've been asking the universe for yoga students who get the work and want to become a part of it.  Three ladies came to class--sister and a friend.  They fit in perfectly.  They loved the class and they are looking forward to coming back when I get home from California.  Yay.

Liz told me something so interesting today.  In meditation I got a message that everyone who participates in the miracles project WILL help uplift the world AND WILL be blessed themselves.  Liz said that she's been feeling the blessings and increase in her own life.  I am soooo excited.

All this and low fat ice cream for dessert.
