7/18/09 up at dawn, miracles workshop, great movie

O.K.  So maybe it wasn't the crack of dawn but I did have to be at the Miraclesproject workshop at 10 a.m.  Liz asked me if I could be at the Church at 8:30 a.m.  I said that I don't recognize that time.  Luke thought it was a miracle that I agreed to it.

To make matters worse,  I had to wash my hair.  Oh no.  Somehow  by giving up almost every other part of my morning I did get to Liz' Church on time.  I got a little lost but not too much.  Mary made the same mistake and Matt went to St Lukes.  Greg over slept as he has been doing lately.

The first woman to arrive looked like she didn't want to be there--at all.  She doesn't believe in miracles--so I'm not sure why she came.  She said that she read about the workshop in her church newsletter.  Hummmm.  The next person to come had a sharp voice.  She doesn't believe in miracles either.  Hummmm.  We got started 1/2 hour late.  Ohhhhhh.  I tried so hard to be on time.

WDavid was there with his friend,  Jett.   They came at 8:30 to set up the cameras.  Once we got going,  things went well.  I did my part of the program,  then Liz did hers.  She had done research and shared many authors who worte about miracles.  This gave people points for conversation.

We broke for lunch.  After lunch,  Greg spoke.  I'm anxious to see how his share worked on camera.

I ended with a meditation exercise and a chance for people to write incidents in their lives that were miraculous.

The workshop went well.  Not great but nicely.  I know that Liz and I learned a lot.  A lot.  Next time we'll do better.

Luke and I had dinner with Nat.  We had such a great time catching up with her.  Then we went to the movies at the Keystone Art Theatre.  We saw the new Woody Allen movie.  It was terrific.  An amazing whimsical look at peoples lives with lots of surprises and a sweet,  happy ending.  GO SEE "WHATEVER WORKS!"
