7/14/09 Bionic Cat, Garden, Hatha Yoga, Cat Fish
The Cat is due to come at 1:00 p.m. and the phone rings. I'm in the middle of a project. It's the Cat and bless his agile heart, he's in Ashley time. He's going to be 20 minutes late. A would laugh about it. She was a good friend and I'm sorry that she went down the drain with members of her family that are . . . well . . . not o.k. with me.
I work until Cat walks in the door. We get a lot done today. I'm finally starting to understand what Cat is trying to teach me. I'm getting smarter. Hummmm. Luke and I have so much fun studying with the Cat. And we get so much done.
When Cat leaves, Luke goes outside. We have such a gorgeous back yard. I bring my sketch book and go out with him. I hope that I don't get too much sun. (I'm allergic) I sit in the most shady spot under a tree. Some of the flowering plants smell delicious. Almost like being in Hawaii. This yard is full of green leaves and vivid flower colors. One of my new rose bushes had it's first bud. I'm excited to see it unfold. Lots of singing birds and bees. Big beautiful bees. Fuzzy and humming in the sun. I can only stay out for 10 minutes. I stetch the leaves and flowers that I want to use in the painting. I keep breathing deep of the marvelous scent. We are so blessed. I look down and see that my arm is red and I have to go inside.
Soon it's time to pick up MKate and we're on our way to Hatha. The class is deep and peaceful. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to teach this class.
On the way home, I see an adorable dog. He's grey and fuffy like a cat with a huge tail of long grey fur. As he trots along beside his mistress, his fur moves with him. Soooo cute. I guess that for now I'll enjoy other people's pets.
More on pets when I get back from California.
