6/30/09 Feeling amazing writing my kids story
I took it slow this morning and got everything done in a deep, happy way. Then I started writing my kid's story. The story I've always wanted to write. I'm in the collection period but ideas and dialogue are flowing. Afterwards I know that I'll have to put the concepts and words into an acceptable form--this is basic for kids stories. I'll worry about it later. Dr S (writing prof) used to say --just let the ideas flow, take as long as you want--that's where the gold is.
I feel that the healing that I received has opened me to create, maybe to heal from all the uprooting I experienced in my life. You know, everytime I put down roots, we had to move again. The healing IS happening in my life. How far reaching will it be.
Once again I have to recall what the great yogi's say--if someone insults or offends you, thank them from your heart--they have just taken a whole mess of your karma. They have freed you to move ahead faster. I feel like I'm putting so many shadows behind me.
I pick up my skirt from the tailors. I had to pay to have a new skirt adjusted to my body. I've learned a lesson. Be careful what you buy. Be sure you can wear the garment in your present body.
Then I pick up our Boston Chicken. Will the phone guys get our side orders right this time? Hummm. And no. Luke didn't get his green beans. Luckily I have plenty in the frig.
Abbie, MKate's granddaughter--who I love--texted me. Both grandkids, adorable Max and beautiful Abbie and MKate will come to yoga tonight. Strangely my character is 9 years old and I've been worried. Honestly I barely recall being 9 years old. So it comes to me, this is my golden chance to interview a nine year old that I actually love. I ask Abbie if she'll let me interview her about the live and times of a nine year old girl. She's willing. Yes!!!! Usually she's busy with her shedule. It's rare for her to be with her gamma for three whole days.
The MKate and the kids pick me up for hatha class. I have a new student who works quietly and well and is not put off by kids. I tell the children to leave when they have had enough. They work well and then they leave, which is fine. The spirit of children uplifts a whole room, and the class flowed.
Max likes to share. He can talk about almost any subject and he gets all the details. Maybe he'll be a writer. The kids got along very well. I was proud of them. MKate and I praised them for their good work.
