6/23/09 Luke and I get hair done, Hatha Class

I get all my morning routine finished.  This is good.  Oh yes.  I am feeling different.  First the healing with Nicole,  then I've started reading the book by her teacher,  "The Reconnection," by Eric Pearl.  I love the book.  And yes,  I feel different,  better like something is happening.  I'll see what Dr K thinks tomorrow.  This would be the most exciting thing ever.  

For the first time,  Luke and I go to the hair dresser together.  My hair is a mop.  We call it a spoiled pet.  It's very time intensive.  I hope Luke isn't too sorry that we shared time together.  

All my fav people are at the salon--Sher,  Gary,  Kim,  and of course--Eunice.  I love all these people and even some of their clients.  Sher's granddaughter is getting married this next week-end.  Sher got a Vera Wang dress on sale at Khols.  She told me about her whole outfit and it sounds amazing.  I hope she brings photos for the next time I come in.  I'm going to call and remind her.  It's going to be an outdoor wedding.  I pray that the weather is clement for this very sweet family.  Now here this,  the wedding cake cost $1.000.  I hope it's totally amazing for that price.  

Two of Gary's customers are regular.  We greet each other now.  Both ladies are older and very cute.  One wears a flip that's bigger than she is.  She looks so sweet and old fashioned in it.  Her husband got his hair done as well.  She remarked that we are both lucky and I knew what she meant.  I felt like God was reminding me to be very grateful.  I hope that I never forget to be grateful for anything.  The other older client wears a glam upsweep,  like a 40's movie star.  She must have been beautiful as a young woman.

Eunice finally manages to tame my hair and get it in an upsweep.  It's too hot to wear down in the summer.  Luke is a little sorry he went with me.  He forgot what it takes to tame the pet.

I get home in time to get ready for class.  

Bev and Jeff are there.  Bev was sick with similar symptoms to MKates.  I decided to do a class on healing.  I love to do those classes.  I work with the energy of light and motion and then I am encouraged to remember it for my own healilng.

After class we talk about getting Bobby Flay to Indy to cook with Bev and maybe Dan as well.  Well,  it could happen.  

MKate eats dinner with us and we chat.  I couldn't have a better more fun almost twin sister.
