6/15/09 Meditation/ clean up/ICO Party
Meditation class was powerful. Very. I could feel Baba's presence and I cried. The whole room filled up with this amazing energy. I remembered the early days in S Fallsburg. So sweet.
MKate came over for lunch. We had scrambled eggs with cottate cheese, fried onions, and chopped olives. Yummm. We tried the new diet soda. It was light. We were going to Zville to play in the Goodman's but MKate had to go to work and I needed to stay home and clean. My papers are the biggest mess. They are taking over like Symore in Little Shop Of Horrors. (O.K. I know I didn't spell Symore right, but Luke is upstairs taking a bath so I have noone to ask.)
I put on going out make-up. I haven't done that in a while. I love the ICO parties. They are so much fun and this one is in a beautiful house that edges a beautiful body of water. Our hostess, Linda Frauenhoff has the most beautiful dream house. You get up in the a.m. and can walk right out on your second story porch and see the water.
Jerad and Debbie are there. We talk about squirrels. Jerad told me that I can make a squirrel treat for Earl that he'll love--a date stuffed with a walnut. I'm going to do it. We sat with Nancy. I love to hear her discuss her pets--four cats. We also share about our kids.
Chad helped with the catering. His chicken was so delicious. Just amazing. I hope he invites us to dinner one day. We ate looking over the water. There were speed boats, water skiers and a monkey (or some other pet) on water skies. I thought it was a dog, but MKate said no it's a monkey. Then I noticed it's long tail. At one point, the animal feel off his skies and into the water. We were worried, but he soon righted himself and they were off again. We saw two huge water birds--blue herons. So Eastern art.
