5/8/09 Brunch with the Matt and Sandy, NM a miracle shared

I got most of my shedule finished.  Then taught a phone lesson.  The student needs to be more focused on using yoga in her daily life.  Life everyone she's fighting old mental patterns.  Karmas made of thought waves and actions.  These patterns can be as strong as iron.  You have to know you can break through that iron door and keep on trying.

Then Luke and I met Matt,  our financial guy,  and Sandy,  our banker for lunch at Plums Upstairs.  One of our fav restaurants.  This restaurant is so beautiful and peaceful.  The art always changes,  but the big light windows and the scenes that look like Europe outside,  that always remains the same.

The chef came to the table,  serving food.  Everyone loved their food--except me.  I thought my omelet was dry.  The eggs weren't good.  But the salad was delicious.  Just yummmy.  So I didn't say anything.  I didn't want to bum anyone else.  The company was great.

Part of what we talked about was--yes--the dogs.   I had this idea.  We could get a guard dog of our own.  It wouldn't be the cute little purse sized dog that I wanted to dress and play with and take everywhere with me . . .  but.  Then I thought Luke loves wolves.  Maybe we could get a wolf/dog and I could dress it anyway.  Put bows in it's hair and cute little collars.  And Muffin could protect us.

We talked buisness.  But also Miracles Project.  Matt is going to work with us.  He's going to do interviews when he goes to Guatamala.  I thought that we might send David,  the film maker with Matt and his wife.  Then Matt began to share the area of Guatamala he is going to.  How it's very mafia.  People that he knows there abducting woman,  raping women and so on.
David won't go on this trip.

I called MKate.  She said that I could come in to work a bit late.  So we dropped my bracelet off at Goodmans.  Also Luke bought me another gold charm.  A musical note to symbolize my musical projects,  my marriage to a musician,   and praising God with music.

I got to work in time to do the banking.  It was my first time at the bank when there were so many mistakes make at NM.  It was a huge mess and problem at the bank.  I was working with my fav bank teller.  She's a student and will eventually be a psychologist who can work in English or Spanish.  Such an interesting young person.  So real.

Back at the Market,  it's business as usual.  Until the end of the day.  One of my oriental customers asks if she can share her miracle.  And her story was pure magic.  I hope she'll meet with me and let me take notes.  She came from a country where half the population was killed off my incoming communists.  She was only 5 years old and her brother was 8.  She and 11 members of her family took a 3 month trek through a wild and dangerous jungle with only the clothes on their backs.  And a few other items.

I want to use her for the movie,  but she might feel too private about the memory.  All 11 people lived.  All lived ordinary lives.  We exchanged information.  Still today two people totally opened up to me about their most private memories.  And I know it's God encouraging me.
