5/25 Bruch and Travel day
We had bruch at Nana's. Then off to the airport for the fun and frolic of travel. Have you ever tried dragging miles and miles through a giant airport with only your cane for support. Not fun. I'm thinking everyday about healing.
The flights were smooth. I always ask for blessings from family, friends and from the Lord above. I ask that all on the plane are blessed and bring extra blessings to thier dear ones.
We have lunch in Dallas at Bon Pain. We get a delcious wrap. L gets his with soup and I get the surprisingly good Bon Pain coffee. (not as good as Starbucks.)
Flying through the night is restful. Some sleep but I'm reading a mystery and want to see who else is suspicious. The author, Nancy Fairbanks is from E.P. Luke thinks he knew her in high school He always tries to get me to e-mail her before our trip. I finished "Chocolate Quake," and was really surprised to find out who the murderer was. Oh, my fav mysteries are cooking/recipe novels where the heroine is also a chef, cook, caterer, or like Nancy's heroine, Carolyn Blue, a food writer.
Finally we're at the Indy airport and realize that we don't have Megan's cell phone. Eventually we find her and head for home. (Megan former student of L's that we both really like) We hear about her teaching and playing careers, and fun--her boyfriend.
At home it takes time for us to settle and get to sleep. Maybe 3 p.m.
