5/2/09 Movie Night!

I had all kinds of plans for today--getting a fish tank with Evan,  shopping in Z ville with MKate and nothing came through.  Evan got into trouble and couldn't go out.  MKate had the grandkids over and she didn't feel great.

I decided to rest and get stuff done i.e. laundry and so on.  I also played and rested.

At five,  I got started making popcorn.  We decided to eat Chipotles where we had a gift certificate and go to Keystone Arts.  We haven't been there in ages.  It's a really comfy theatre if you get there early enough to sit in the middle seats.  We decided to see,  "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," with Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner.  Some of the critics didn't like it but we did.  I'm a big fan of Matthew McConaughey.

Luke went into the theatre first and I went to the restroom.  As I was coming out,  I saw an older gentleman looking--- well lost and a little scared.  So I asked him what was going on.  He went to the restroom and his wife went into the theatre.  He was standing in front of theatre 6.  So I thought that she must have gone into 6.  I suggested that he get an usher to help him find his wife with a flashlight.

I went ahead into 7.  Larry got the good seats and I sat down.  A few seats down from us,  an older woman was sitting next to a man's jacket.  And I knew.  I asked her if she was waiting for her husband.  She was.  Luke went and found him.  He's having memory problems and was happy to be found.  I felt like God worked through me to help this couple.  Hopefully she won't leave him again.

It's a great feeling to have God work through you.
