5/11/09 Meditation Class/ Meeting with Film Maker
Got most of my routine done. That's good. The passion of the dogs next door has abated. I guess because I love animals and the dog I saw was so adorable. Just the kind of dog that you like to pat. However, I won't soon forget Williams story of his pet tarantula. He loved that pet so much and took such great care of it, but it bit him anyhow.
So I know I have to take care.
MKate came to pick us up for meditation class. Juliette came a bit late with her mom, Elizabeth who is handicapped and moves very slowly. Juliette is trying to help her mom get back her health. She sat in a chair. She brought a lot of peace to the class. So I didn't feel the cold vibs that cool down the class. Our contemplation was from the Gita. Words make a difference. You have to build good things with words that you think as well as those you say. I love the way the meditation class flows.
Then I had a meeting with the film maker, David. He's been dealing with the hard parts of life. A friend is getting a divorce and asked to live with him. That's always hard. His dad had serious surgery. His roomie lost her cat. And it looks like his job is over as of June. That's a lot. Now he's ready. I'll e-mail Liz and get them in touch. We talked about many things. We especially talked about miracles. What counts. Who believes in them and who doesn't. The time flew by and we talked for over three hours. Nows the time for action.
The lawn people didn't come as they promised and neither did Ricky. Hummmm. I'm not as anxious to move as I was before. It's probably not the time. So if Luke and I can work out that he'll take care of himself, maybe I'll get a fence. We'll see.
Well tomorrow's it. I'm meeting with the surgeon. I'm kind of scared and kind of excited at the same time.
