Snowing.  Yes,  snow in April.  What?  Are we in Wisconsin.   I looked out my magic window and saw little, delicate flakes of snow drifting downwards.  Poor flowers and new buds.

As Luke and I drove to our brunch with Matt (finance guy)  ,  we could see the way the world works.  Some flowers put down their heads and said no more.  Other flowers gracefully moving in the wind said to themselves.  That's the way it is today.  But tomorrow spring will come to stay.

Brunch with Matt.  Fun.  We chose Plums Upstairs for their great french pressed coffee and amazing soups. Matt called this morning to say that Plums is closed on Mondays.  Drat.  I think we could try the new breakfast place,  Tulip Noir.  We get there and Matt is outside looking cold and disappointed.  Tulip Noir is also closed on Mondays.  So we went to the old standby,  La Peep.  You can count on decent food at La Peep.  Not exciting,  but tasty.

Matt showed us some of his poetry.  Very touching and spiritual.

We talked about life,  "the" movie and finally business.

Then Luke and I took our ride.  We had a very amazing experience.  We resolved an issue that's been a problem for us for a long time.  We're learning great communication skills.  We end with Starbucks as always.  On the way home,  we pass beautiful country scenes.  Waiting at a light,  we watch the rain fall heavy, making puddles like ponds.  The drops hit hard,   little waves and circles.  Movement.

At home it's the usual.  Making dinner.  Eating and watching our shows: Jeopardy and Chuck.
