Got up on the early side (for me) for church.  Cold rain.  The flowers are confused.  What?  They came up in good faith when the weather was warm.  Now every other day is cold.  Snow is predicted for tomorrow.  Do I believe it?  No.

The choir sang Handel.  "Lift Up Your Heads, O Ye Gates" from the Messiah. I closed my eyes to listen to the parts of the choir moving in and out of this great music like threads woven into a divine wall hanging.  Together we repeated the creed.  I love the old prayers.  The father,  the Son and the Holy Spirit.  That's what we can live with every day if we reach for it.  Like marriage.  In sickness and in health.  WE BELIEVE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD AS THE DIVINE RULE IN      HUMAN SOCIETY . . . . Ummm.  Yummy.

The theme of pastors sermon was: " This, too,  Shall Pass."  He quoted Mark.   First the people shouted, "Hosanna!  Blessed is the one who acomes in the name of the Lord!  They changed their mind later,  when Jesus didn't give them what they wanted.

I ate breakfast at home while I fed Durga and got her ready for the day.  Then off to Nature's Market.

Sunday is my fav day at the market.  Matt is the most fun person to talk to and to work with.  We talk about everything.  Little parts of our lives and major.  Even though he's young,  he understands.

It was raining hard and cold.  Would the rain ever stop.  No.  It wouldn't.  Yet the customers came and we had a reasonable day.  I met a woman from St Luke's.  She goes to the 11 a.m. service.  I told her about the miracles project.  She had already heard of it,  and was interested in knowing more.

The rain came down and down.  Get me an arc.  I was waiting for someone to help me to my car.  It's hard to walk with a cane when the weather is slick in any way.  As I waited,  I looked out the picture window.  The macadam was dark with deep pitting.  Rain filled the depressions making ponds .  The pelting rain hit water and created a beautiful wave effect.  Street lights shone on rain dripping down car fronts.  The energy of heavy rain fills the world.

Matt got my car,  and pulled it close to the store front.   He was wiling to get wet.  What a sweetie.  I'm lucky to have good,  caring friends.  Even so,  I got soaked.

After a rest,  we joined Em and Bobby and Brian.  His family was in St Louis visiting gramma.  Evan was off to Florida for spring break with the rich family.  He should have fun.  Jen is leaving for Chicago and a shopping spree tomorrow.  Soon she'll be 17.  I can't believe it.

Bobby served his delicious pizza.  I did eat a small piece--not much as 1/4 (or less) spoonful of chocolate cake with creamy icing.  Good job Willow.

After dinner, we sat around the table making each other laugh.
