9/14/09 a red bird, an awesome class at MM
Looking out my window from the upside down yoga position, I saw an amazing red cardinal. He looked like a young bird. Smaller than most males this bird sat on the branch outside my window for a long time. He was sleek and shiny and so beautiful. He stayed for most of my routine. A great way to start my day.
Haven't talked to Kendra for ages. We talk about yoga and meditation and our lives and kids. It's always great to touch base with an old friend. Kendra and her husband Charlie sang at Rain and Ry's wedding. I always love to hear about Kendra's cave meditation with Babaji and the white horse that takes her through the meadow and to her meditation cave. She had an idea that worked for me. For some time, I haven't been able to do my special meditation the the room above. I won't discribe it because it's personal to me--but I will say that an idea that Kendra spoke about might get me started again.
I got work done. I also played. I had a lot of outdoor stuff to do but the weather was grey and rainy. I thought hummm. Nothing essential. Then a wrote a new song. About God and the little red bird.
I picked up MKate for class. There was a sweet lady new to class. I think she felt a little nervous because she's been out for a while with family health issues. She tried anyway and fit in perfectly. I love the classes that gel and seem to be a song of praise to God. At the end of class Jane came over to me. She discribed a kundalini experience where her palms got very warm, warm enough to last all through the class. God has been with me lately and with my doings. I can't take credit for his blessings, but I enjoy when the grace is around me.
Please God. Help Willow. Em told me that the little girl, 3 , is very ill in the Riley Children's Hospital division of Clarion Hospital. If anyone that I don't know reads this blog, Please, Please, Please pray for Willow.
I light 7 candles and got on my knees to pray. Oh Lord, help that little girl and her parents.
