4/20/09 Meditation class. Shopping with Luke
Cold and grey. But beautiful. Sometimes I love a grey sky. There's a peace in the softness.
Luke came to meditation class with me. It was fun. I can't remember when Luke made time to take one of my classes. I didn't know who would show up. Tom and Angie came back, that was neat. Meg, a teacher from the school, joined us. Everyone was in the zone and the class was alive with shakti and very peaceful. I slipped into meditation several times. The reading was about breathing tech: Breath in God and revel in that , hold the breath and be with God, then breath out and meet God outside, hold the breath and be with God. Simple and powerful. As you know, I'm sometimes aware, and sometimes not aware of what direction the class takes. I surrender it to the higher power and let it flow.
After class, Luke and I went for Starbucks. Then we went to the bank where the teller discovered that I tore my MN check in the wrong place. If she hadn't found the mistake, it would have caused me and the teller all kinds of inconvenience. But she did. I do have to come back to the bank, but when I have time.
Luke and I ate lunch and then went shopping at Trader Joe's. I love to have the snack and the coffee. We came home in time for me to rest and for Luke to get ready to teach a private student.
The day flowed in a good way. We had dinner and watched Jeopardy and Chuck--our fav.
