4/17/09 Xavier is soccer star!
Bright sunlight. The sun shining on the houses across the street Two birds in the red oak outside my window. Flirting with one another. Maybe they'll make their nest in that tree.
Today's student is doing very well. This week, she went through an emotional trip that I also went through. The idea of yajna yoga is not that you have no emotions. No. We're human beings--we're attached to this world and the things of this world. My student's daughter made a change in her life recently. That change shifted the world for my student. My daughter made a change this year. A decision was made that also rocked my world. But in the end, it taught me to go deeper within. To work harder to estabish my inner connection to the eternal part of myself. That place inside me that feels serene and steady. I've come to think that the change I've been sad over is the best thing for my spiritual journey. And I was able to share that with my student. A very good feeling.
Then I went to NM. I did the banking first. I enjoy going to the bank and seeing so many different people. The variety of life. Back at the market I worked with Greg. MKate is off on a trip to Costa Rico. NM seems, well, like MKate isn't there. Also Jeff, her husband , is sad.
I met some interesting customers. Helped people find what they were looking for. Gave ideas for more wholistic life style changes. And the day went fast.
Rain texted me. Twice. The first time, she said that she loved me. I thought that was sweet from my adult daughter. Then she texted that Xavier is the star of his soccer team. He made 7 goals during his second ever game. Wow!!!!
I have a secret good thing. We'll see.
