4/15/09 Kendra comes to M.N./ Willow: Good News

Luke and head out early to Dr K's.  It's a grey day.  I don't care.  Any day that doesn't include snow or ice is a great day.

The waiting room is full.  People are talking about dancing.  It was cool.  An elderly man sitting next to me was remembering his years as a tap dancer.  Once he joined the Navy his dancing days were over,  but he remembers them fondly.  He was so interesting.  I hope we see this couple again.

I recalled when my girls took hula,  and the recitals when they wore red plastic skirts and danced to Don Ho's Tiny Bubbles.

Pat the hip surgery lady is a dancing teacher.  She has a school of her own.  I told her about Jen doing Hip Hop.  She doesn't teach Hip Hop.  Actually,  I didn't think that she would,  but maybe hire a younger teacher.  But she doesn't even like it.  Well,  everyone's different.

Then I came home to work on the computor.  I had to get gas before work.  MKate called to think out what she still needed for her trip to the Rain Forest.  Would that will be an adventure.

At work,  I had a number of boxes to unpack and price.  I really like that work.  It's peaceful and centers me like meditation.  You have to concentrate to do it well and fast.  A little mistake and woops you have to do it all again.  I hate to make a mistake.

Kendra came by.  It's takes her almost 2 hours to get to Indy from where she and Charlie live in the far away by the lake.  I was so excited to see her.  She looks great.  She's slim and her hair is growing.  We always have so much to talk about.  She showed me an amazing book on Sai Baba one of my fav saints.  I couldn't believe the amazing photos of  Sai Baba's ashram.  The shakti poured out of the photos.

As we are talking,  I'm thinking about Wllow with prayers and faith that she's got to get well.  Betty sends me an e-mail.  She's praying and will try to get in touch with Pastor M.  I can't help having a good feeling.

When I got home from work,  Em had still not called.  I called her.  She said that Willow's parents e-mailed her.  The MD's were afraid of a complication,  so they couldn't upgrade her.  But Willow's dad said they did get some good news.  In this situation some good news is great.
