The view out my bedroom window.  Snow falling.  Big soft flakes of white ,  whirling in the wind.
The ground getting lightly covered.

I get my entire morning routine done.

Then MKate comes to pick me up for her birthday celebration in Zville.  She's going to spend her gift certificates at Leslie Jane--a boutique in Zville that is very hip and not too expensive.  I love to shop there.  That's where I got my top fav garments for this winter.  And sure enough I found more clothes to love--a really pretty dress that will look great with heels (I'm already seeing myself in heels)  and a cool sweater that I can mix with a colored t shirt.

MKate is going to Las Vegas for her brother-in-laws wedding.  So she had to work at shopping.  At 4:00 we finally called it a day and went to Plum's Upstairs for a snack.  (too late for lunch.)
The service is always caring and sweet at Plum's.  We shared French pressed decaf with fresh cream ,  soup and a roll.  I got spicy lentil soup--amazingly delicious and half a crusty roll.

You can look down at the European like brick street and narrow road from Plum's window.  The little shops and cars and people make me feel like I'm in a forgien country.

We went back to my house to get popcorn ready for the saturday night movie.  Our fav theatre with the most comfy seats is Trader's Point.  You just sink in and move into another world.  We saw "He's just not that into you."  Luke,  MKate and I all loved it.  It dealt with the romantic scene for singles in the age of electronic communication.  In the midst of reality there was a healthy mix of happy endings and people affiming love.
