This morning the sun cast dark blue shadows on the still white blanket of snow that is our new,  improved lawn.  I wanted to get all the aspects of my morning routine done before it was time to pack the car for B-town.  My mornings are very full with spiritual study,  hatha yoga,  shower , and the care and feeding of Durga.  (I've managed to spoil her)

Although it was cold,  we had perfect weather for our trip.  Sunshine and clear roads.  I started the program that Dr Logan gave me.  I felt better and had more energy.

We got to Xavier's school so early that Luke had time for a nap.  I started work on my new musical comedy.  I been thinking about if for awhile and now I'm laying it out on paper.
Xavier was happy to be going home early.  He did his homework with  Papa, then played Pet Society with Gramma.

Xavier didn't really want to eat out tonight.  He wanted to play upstairs in his room--where his bear family and all his action toys live.  It's the first time I've felt we should order a pizza and stay home.  But we did go out according to plan.

Luke had a gift certificate to Long Horn.  The food was good without being great.  I like Golden Corral much better.  Maybe we can start going there again.  It's more fun for the kids as well.  They can run around an noone cares.

I drove home and wasn't even tired.  Luke and I tried to talk about some of our serious topics.  Some of the conversation went well,  better than usual for us.  But when we got down to his load at Butler,  we got mad at each other.  Still some progress has been made and hopefully we can build on it.

I used to feel that Luke and I would never be able to discuss his workaholic stuff,  now I see that we might be able to.  I'm less intense about it,  but I hope for his sake that he gets it before retirement.
