Out the window it's still winter. But winter without a bite. Fluffy little flakes of snow, blowing around, dancing around. Harmless. Yes. It's very cold. But I can drive safely and walk safely, so it's o.k.
We went to church. We were a little late. I walked in while Luke parked the car. Quess who came into the sanctuary just after I did. Bev and Jeff. What a darling couple. If any couple was actually made for each other . . . . and they came together in the midst of their spiitual journeys.
Blessings like snow flakes.
I love church. It's so peaceful. The prayers comforting and farmiliar. The innovator was right on today. She came from her heart and talked about walking with the living presence of God. Which fit into Pastor M's sermon.
Luke is my fav appostle. His writing is simple and from the heart. He writes about what matters to me. Jesus who is always there for us. This quote talked about the walk to Emmaus.
In this quote, Luke 24:13-15 , two disciples are walking to Emmaus. They're shocked and so sad about the death of Jesus. Suddenly he's walking right next to them, but they don't recognize him. They don't recognize him. I'm thinking about that. After Church I lit candles for my sister's health, Rain's health , and B's new job. I love that we can light candles in church now,
Nature's Market is always great when I get to work with Matt. We talk about our theatre project, Pet Society and everything that makes life interesting. While we're at it we are building a customer base and helping people. Our bottom like was very good today, and no one made a super large purchase. I think that people are drawn to our good energy.
We didn't eat with Em and Bobby tonight. They were both sick. And I was exhausted. Glad to be home.
I made salmon in coconut milk. Yum. We worked together to put supper on the table and then watched the academy awards.
