Last night I was too tired to post. And I had something to share.
I love rain. Especially when I am cosy inside. I woke up to sheets of rain falling against my morning window. Bright beads of water. So filled with life and grace. Without rain we wouldn't be. Rain nourishes the entire earth. All things grow by the grace of rain.
The screen behind my window was beaded up with droplets. And the window. The earth drinking it up and getting ready for spring.
Luke and I drove to the chiropractor through sheets of heavy rain. The sound peaceful and soothing. Sometimes a little scary when the windshiel fogged up. But always amazing.
I'm glad the Luke is taking care of himself and will see the Chiropractor and Physical Therapist every other week. We'll go together which is good for me because I have to be flexable and change my morning shedule.
I can get up and shower. Make coffee and be ready to leave the house. In some ways it's like fresh air even for the best of shedules.
Later that afternoon driving to work, I go past a field of golden winter grass. The rain had stopped and the sky was a bright blue. The air washed clean. The trees were dark outlines against the blue of the sky. It seemed that nature was holding it's breath. Everything was so still. And the light. How to describe it. The light made everything it touched golden. The field was still, washed clean and golden. Holding it's breath. In another dimension. A mystic experience.
