This morning the snow was almost gone.  Patches of green showed like spring come early.  And lots of sunshine.  Luke says that winter will make itself known again tomorrow,  and that we may see a few snow flakes.  It's hard to believe. 

A had a phone lesson today.  We talked about a reading from the Gita.  Krishna tells Arjuna that to be on the path ,  to make a true spiritual achievement ,  you have to stop running after things and just accept what comes to you.  Sometimes what comes is  an ice cream sundae of an event.  You're in love when you experience it.  Sometimes it's one of those experiences that you can't imagine getting through.  You don't know how you can do it.  It's too hard. 

But to be on the path you have to open your hands and recieve.  Personally I like the ice cream sundae variety better and I've experienced both.  

Then I rested.  I had things I could and maybe should have done,  but I don't want to relapse.

I spoke to Liz ( composer)  She's been sick as well.  We talked about things we want to accomplish with our music this year.  

I went to Nature's Market.  I hadn't been out and the cold air made me cough.  I told myself.  No more coughing.  I did the banking for NM.  Then,  I bundled up well to work at the register.  The front door is right behind me.   Business was slow.  The economy.  The cold.  Who knows.  MKate and I are thinking that a food demonstration would bring more customers in.  I'm really tired at the end of the work day.  I'm also proud of myself.  I know that the healing energy of the universe lives inside me.  Why not tap into it.
