This morning I saw a green house. I mean lime green. The house must be on the street parrallel
to ours. But it's been out there all this time and I've never seen it before this morning. What I love is that during the summer when the leaves and bushes are filled out, I can't see much of anything and I feel like I'm in my own private forest. You can tell that I love my back yard.
A few snow flakes. The yard is frosted. I hear that there's a big snow coming . I'm not sure I believe it. We'll see. I knew I had a class at Butler in the evening. So I hoped that if it snowed I got to finish the class and get home before the big fall.
I did laundry. I know I have to get my ragged toes done, but I can't afford to be without energy tonight. So I do at home things. There is so much to do that I could be here for a month and not run out.
At 5:30 MKate comes to pick me up. She loves to demonstrate for this class. The prof has created "Hands on Spirituality." The kids who take it love it. The class inspires and uplifts.
We get the Johnson room. Big, fancy and perfect for a yoga class. I have prepared a talk about yoga and miracles to start the class. The shakti is there. The holy spirit is there. I can feel the flow. Every one is with this flow, each in his or her own way. I am walking. For the first time since my fall I'm walking without the cane. Amazing.
When I get to teach with the holy spirit, I'm uplifted and inspired. And grateful. So very grateful. And I get to share it with some of my favorite people. Luke, MKate and the teacher P.
Then we shut off the lights and everyone lies down. North Indian yoga comes from a space of utter relaxation. We stretch and strengthen and breath but with it all we relax. I start about 6:30, at 8 Luke comes and playes the violin while the class meditates. His playing gets more and more magical.
At the end, MKate, and Luke and I all walk out in awe of this holy, holy spirit that has blessed the class, the space and us.
