I got up with more energy. A light snow had fallen and the ground in our yard was dusted with it, like powdered sugar on a doughnut.
I spent some time thinking how very grateful I am for blessings in my life. This morning I loved the look of powdered sugar snow, and sunshine--happy, friendly sunshine.
Our meeting with Greg Shelly (our lawyer) went well. A good time for us to finally get the matter of mom's estate resolved. Luke and I are working better and better as a team.
Greg is a sweet human. His wife is ill. He felt he could share with us like friends. I'm going to start praying for her.
I got home in time for a cup of tea. Then, I picked up MKate and we went to class. There were two new students waiting for me, and a long time student that I hadn't seen in ages. The class went well, considering that I was coughing. During meditation, I coughed so hard that the two new students were scared away. Even MKate was scared and I knew that no one could meditate in peace. The new students were friends. I hope they think about some of the practices, many even try a few asanas or breathing techniques.
At home, I had dinner and rested. Now I'll go to bed and think thoughts of healing and golden light. We'll see.
