Today the sky was white. Not just the sky above but fog seemed to create a cold, cold wonderland of filmy white. I had to be out by 10:30 on the dot. Not a biggie for most people, but for a person who does several hours of prayer and yoga before getting breakfast --something has to go.
I drove the highway in pelting rain to get to my beauty parlor appointment. I view Studio 7000 as a kind of magical place. Jeff , the owner and also a hair dresser (among his other many talents) has created a warm, fun, family- like feeling in his salon. I love to go there.
My hairdresser is MKate's sister. She does a great job with my hair, and she's laid back and fun to talk to. I like everyone who works in the salon. A lot of older people come to get those little curls . It's fascinating to watch.
We all talk and know about each other's lives. Cher, the hair dresser next to mine has a miracle story and is going to be in my documentary for sure.
I came home and worked on my computor for awhile.
I went to the Bank for NM. I'm getting to know some of the bank clerks. We share about family and holidays.
NM tended to be quiet. It was J and MK's anniversary. They went to dinner with their kids. I got to know the new young man a little. He has training as an herbalist and loves to work at NM. I hope he's here for awhile. He has great positive energy. His a musician as well, he plays the trombone. He was a vegetarian on and off, like me it wasn't good for his body. Interesting.
