Today I experienced some big miracles.  Huge really.  But I'm starting with the  morning out my window.  Snow on the ground.  Frost.  It's cold.  Winter weather.  I feel lucky to be in a warm house.  It's a miracle of grace.

Luke and I went to the chiropractor together.  We didn't know what to expect driving wise.  Of course our housing development was a sheet of ice,  but the main roads were fine and we got to Dr K's on time.

The atmosphere is always relaxed there and healthy.  Luke and I love it.  One of Dr K's clients brought lunch for him,  Dr Mike and Amy (receptionist).  What a sweet thing to do.  Dr K invited us to eat with him.  We didn't want to eat but we felt like family.

Off to do chores.  One was mailing packages.  One to Pat Glick which she will take to Prem.  Luke went into the post office and I waited in the car.  As he walked out of the post office,  he didn't notice that he had walked behind a car that was moving out of it's parking spot.  The driver was older and might not have seen him--but she did and stopped in time.  Luke didn't want to talk about it,  but I am on my knees grateful that all was well.  The first big miracle of the day.  I felt protected and that my family was also protected.

We dropped off some offerings.  We always do toys for tots.  This year we also contributed new clothing to a place where people can chose items they need free of charge.  I hope that the person who gets the pretty top will be blessed by it in amazing ways.

Then I got some lunch and went to work at NM.  Two more people contributed to MKate and J's gift and that made everyone but the new kid--who says that he will --and of course T.  Who told me that she would give a private gift on her own.  I don't really care.  Lucky for me.

I was cold at the store,  but I got hot tea and it warmed me up.

I got a call from MKate.  On the way home her car skidded.  She was afraid that she would run into the trees along the side of the road.  Through grace,  she didn't.  The icy grass stopped the car short of the trees.  Really grace in the form of frozen grass.

When I heard that she was safe,  I knew that I would be lighting more candles tonight to celebrate miracles in the lives of two of my dearest and most precious people.
