This morning I was tired.  I got to be so late last night.  I hope to do better tonight.  

Larry was off to his 2nd long day.  I went slow this morning and let myself rest.  Outside the day was grey and frosty.  Winter cold.  Larry reminded me to wear socks.  I know he's right.  In the winter socks are the thing.

Lee wanted a phone lesson today.  She is doing amazing.  Her ten days with her very ill parents went better than anyone could expect.  She was able to help out,  and leave for home with that inner joy that comes from a job well done.  She says that the lesson she had before leaving was helpful to her.  That makes me smile.  

A student called to tell me that she's sending me a Christmas present.  I'm excited.  I love presents.  

BJ called to tell me that things were looking up for her.  She's up for several jobs and the situatuion with her new husband's emotionally handicapped son seems to have come to a head in a way that will finally get the kid some help.  

Did banking for NM.  Got one of  the good tellers.  She's a student and works at the bank part-time.  At NM,  Katherine and I talked a little,  about life and the fact that she's moving in with her mom until it's time to move to Texas. 

As I drove home from work in the icy coldness,  I thanked and thanked God above that soon I'd be in my cosy home fixing dinner.  Blessings everywhere.
