Oppps.  It's winter.  Morning window shows snow,  falling fast.  The ground is covered.  It won't be measured in inches,  but it's cold and people won't go out unless they have to.

I get some work done.  Then it's time for the Christmas concert.  I sat with Lizbeth.  Lately she's been into her pink knit hat.  A fashion statement?  It's a nice hat.  Maybe she's just cold.  The concert was wonderful.  A mix of old favorite Christmas songs that make you cry and new ones that you haven't heard often.  We have so much talent in our Church.  Luke is Concert Master of our Church orchestra.

We ate at home.  I can whip up a meal fast.  I made a turkey stir fry with onions and potatoes in olive oil,  a strip of sweet potato and red cabbage with carrots flavored with coconut oil and Une Plum.  Love that Une Plum.  MKate helped.  We made popcorn for the movies and hid it in the big blue bag.  If you don't wave it in front of the theatre staff,  they don't have to say anything that you don't want to hear.

The theatre lobby was almost empty.  We saw Bolt an inspiriational movie for kids--that's us--kids in search of inspiration.  There were three other families with kids seeing the show with us.  We were the kids in our family group.

It's so cold out.  This whole week will be cold.  Thank you Lord for warmth.  Thank you Lord for our home and warm clothes.  For food and friends and for all your blessings.  And for your  holy presence in our lives.
