I am slowly working my way through my TO DO list. Yes.
Luke and I kept making each other laugh as we went through our morning routine. We like to laugh about who makes the bed better. I really think I do. And he really thinks he does, but it's gotten funny over time. It always makes us laugh. Hummm. Then we laughed over cabbage. I like to announce mundane happenings as though they were world shaking. So I went into the bathroom where Luke was taking a bath and I solemnly told him that I was buying a cabbage today. And that I'd probably get it at Target, but I didn't know if I wanted a red cabbage or a white one. We think that sort of conversation is funny. Believe it or not--we do.
I spent some time working on my Nature's Market project. A secret. Anyway. I thought it turned out very well. Perfect. It was perfect in every way I wanted it to be. Now I sit back and watch what the universe thinks.
Then off to Target one of my favorite places. I started my Target experience with Starbuck Chai Latte. So yummy. Then I decided on a red cabbage. I could have had both, but stuck with the red. I got a cool toy for Xavier. Some kind of Starwars lazer that you can aim at the t.v. and kind of shoot stuff. I met the mother of a boy close to X in age. She swears that he'll love it.
I couldn't get Rain on the phone so . . . I went with the mother of two boys.
I'll try to talk to Rain tomorrow. And I got Starwars Monopoly. The mother pointed that out to me as well. I think that will be fun for X and I to play on Thursday afternoons.
All in all it was a great Target experience. As always.
Then off to NM. K has dyed her hair a strange color of gold. Very strange. Her own color is so nice, it's hard to believe that she did it. I have to pray hard for her. When a kid has no parenting, it's hard for them to make their way in the world.
Business was slow tonight. Very slow. However a few good sales may have put us in the plus column. I spent some time working on M and my comedy routine for the NM Christmas party.
MKate can't shop tomorrow. I'm kind of glad because I have to get organized for next week. I really have to.
