Crusts of ice everywhere.  The back yard is covered in icy leaves and makes me grateful for my warm,  warm house.  The sky is white again.  Luke tells me to get dressed warm.  In meditation,  I have an experience of healing.  I don't want to share the details.  For almost an hour,  I am walking normally.  I'm excited.

Luke and I have a quiet talk and I ask if we can return the expensive necklace.  He isn't upset and says that we can.  I'm grateful.

Then, we go for our every other week date.  We drive and talk.  The roads are perfect.  I don't care about the cold.  I just love to be safe driving.  I feel a rush of gratitude.  We get Starbucks Chai Lattes which warm us up and make us smile.  And we share an almond-nut biscotti.  Blessings and joy.

My sister is fine.  The eye specialist finds her retina to be perfect.  Another source of joy and gratitude.

At home,  the Schwan guy comes.  Luke and I like him.  He's friendly and open.  Just the kind of person that  you want to be part of your life.  And the food is excellent.  Basically,  Schwan's has changed our eating life for the better.  It's so easy to make healthy meals using their products.
I got a ham for the New Year's Eve party.  That's off my mind.  I'll make other things and have plenty to do,  but the bigger is done.

Well better finish the present wrapping.  It's been a great day.  So many miracles.  So many joys and occasions to celebrate the gifts of God.
