Looking for miracles in daily life is fun. When you look for something you're going to find it.
I woke up and looked out the window. The trees have lost almost all of their leaves. The wind was blowing the bare branches.
I went to the beauty parlor. There was a full house--all the hair dressers and the nail tech. It's fun to see all the different clients and talk to the hair dressers that I know and like. You get to know each others lives. C's granddaughter is getting married. Who is going where for Thanksgiving and what they're going to bring. Life and joy as people appreciate their families and friends.
G does mostly senior citizens and I'm fascinated to watch him create hairdo's that make the most of thin hair. Little rollers to make tons of little curls. Larry, the product salesguy was there. He's the one who experienced a miracle during the last big storm in Martinsville. He and his wife got out of bed together to check out a noise. A few seconds later an avalanche of mud and debris broke through their roof and covered the entire bedroom area. Their lives were saved.
Yoga class was great tonight. All people committed to knowing the inner self. The peace in the room was amazing. I love to be present in that kind of class. It's a blessing for me to teach such focused students.
K called. He and Lucy are getting married. Tomorrow. Speeded up a little because of hard times. They are lucky to have found each other and I pray for all good things from now on.
