I love to drive on sunny days.  I listen to my tapes and feel the warm sun on my face.  It's always an adventure to me.  

I got my hair done today.  I was tired from the dental surgery, but the shop is always fun and upbeat.  I really like my hair dresser,  she's amazing.  I really like everyone in the shop.  Now there's a new guy and he's fun as well.  

I met a supplies rep who had a miracle to share.  He and his wife were saved from dying in a landslide during the heavy rains we had a few months ago.  They heard a noise,  got out of bed to check it out and a few minutes later their bed was drowned in sticky,  thick,  heavy mud and debris.  They lost their house,  but are alive to enjoy each other and their family.  

I went home to rest.  And managed to play a few games of wordscraper.  

I really wasn't up for teaching tonight.  But I bravely drove out with MKate.  There were only two students--MKate mentioned my surgery and we all agreed so that I should go home to rest.

It's so amazing to have a friend like MKate.  She even braved the wilds of Krogers to get me some weight watchers ice cream.  My fav heath bar on a stick.

At home I got comfy under the covers and . . . . . played windscraper.  

All that and Barak Obama won!  And won big.  God bless our new president,  and keep him safe.
