Got up to hear that one of my girls is having a bad time of it. Usually, I'd put my negative thoughts behind hers. I'd worry all day and fill the air with nasty vibrations. Instead, I prayed and offered her sadness to God. Maybe I'll write to my Saint for her. (When I did that before, she got a job)
Luke and I drove to B-town. We stopped at the U first so that Luke could teach a class. I wait for him in this beautiful lounge on campus. Today a red squirrel was on the porch. He was doing a dance. I love this lounge. It's big and comfy and has a great view of trees and sky.
The ride was quiet. Speaking softly and just being. The usual stop at Starbucks. I get hot coffee, but can't bring myself to wear socks. Not very fashionable. Oh, well.
Xavier loves school. He gets in the car happy. I gave him a fruit bar. He ate half, so I'm going to think of another small treat that will please him more. He did his homework like a lamb, and then we set up his star wars guys. We never really play; we just set up the guys--which is fine since I don't know the rules and neither does he. He was extra sweet with me, not sure why but I loved it.
Met the Rain , R and Violeta at Golden Corral (found out I've been misspelling Choral) We always have a great time. It's lively. You can people watch, eat what you like and the kids eat great.
The drive home was peaceful. I love to drive at night.
M says that Lucy is having hard times. Very. I'm going to pray more and harder. Tomorrow I'll light a big candle.
