Church was inspiring today.  Pastor M is just there--all the time.  He talked about praising God all the time--not just when things go well.

I'm happy when I remember to praise God when things go amazingly well.  I'm practicing praising him for the little things that are not so little.  This morning was sunny and warm (for this time of year).  I thought about John Denver's song about sunshine . . .  "Sunshine on my shoulder makes me happy. . . " Sunshine makes me happy as well.  I get this rush of sunshine filling my world as a little girl.  I thought it was magic and I still do.  Joy arises when it's a sunny day.

Pastor talked about counting his blessings.  Our economy has people upset and scared.  He said that his first blessing is his loyal and supportive wife.  And he went on.

I thought of all my many blessings: Luke and the way he accepts me as I am (imperfect),  our girls and the way they are working things out in their lives,  creating good things,  grandkids--the best.  Friends.  Very good friends.  Home and food.  Jobs that we love.  Projects that we love.  Coffee.  Starbucks.  Movie night.  So much to be grateful for.

M and I had fun at work.  We're kind of kidding about a cute person's club and kind of not.  We always talk from the heart and share with each other.  Another blessing.

M had Sunday dinner with B and his adorable family.  His son is amazingly cute with a mass of blond curls.  So sweet.  Bobby made veggie chili that was scrumptious and we got to take some home.  M has created a space where people can gather in comfort and peace.  Where people can eat and be happy.
