Today I felt better than I have in years. I'm committed to healing. I'm working with my knowledge of healing and my strong belief in the human body to heal itself. God created my body perfect. By trusting myself, I'm also trusting God's creation.
Thursdays are my favorite days. I take the peaceful drive to Bloomington and pick up my grandson up at school. He's in first grade. There's so much to learn, about himself and others. Today he cried at school because he is afraid to lose his teeth (no one knows why?) He has his first loose tooth. Rain(my daughter) told me to be prepared that he might be upset. But when he got into my car he wanted to look through a Halloween activity book I got him . So I didn't say anything about teeth and he didn't say anything about teeth.
Later when we'd been playing for a while, he wiggled his loose tooth. He told me that the tooth fairy was probably his mom and dad but maybe not. We drew pictures of the tooth fairy. His tooth fairy brought him candy and mine brought big $$$$ checks and gold.
Rain said that I'd have to do homework with him. I don't like to do that. When he gets home from school, he's already so tired. But we did it. Oops Gramma found out that he does the new math better than I do. I was struggling to explain a problem to him. He did it in his head in 10 seconds.
Another game we play is "who does Gramma meet at Starbucks." I always stop at Starbucks on the way to B-town. When he was really young, I'd meet the Power Rangers, the Powder Puff Girls or one of the super heros. Now I meet the Green Alien. We pretend that the Green Alien has coffee with Gramma.
My granddaughter is all about independence. She doesn't want to sit in her high chair anymore. Little as she is , she doesn't even want to sit in a booster chair. She sits on a grown up chair, like her big brother.
So that's my Thursday. Children are so divine.
