Sometimes, I just like to be on vacation--at home. And that's the way, it's been for a few days. Just me playing windscraper (scrabulous) in between chores. I won't say that I'm getting a lot accomplished but . . . . I'm having fun. I did get most of the laundry done.
Jonathan has finished the choral arrangement of " Glory, Glory. " I'm excited for Luke to hear it. I'm really excited for the time when I hear a chorus, a big chorus sing it. I've been meaning to call Jonathan but couldn't because of windscraper. Is it a miracle that he contacted me instead? And that the work is finished? It's one of the sweetest miracles. You should do something, instead, it gets done itself. (through grace)
Luke was preparing for his big concert tonight. Suddenly he came downstairs to tell me that he couldn't see his music well. He didn't know how he was going to perform a concert when he couldn't see the notes. I suggested that he cancel the concert.
He prayed instead , all the way to the concert hall (about 20 minutes) , and read the music easily. Luke said he felt the healing presence of God. He played in a way that I haven't heard before--drenched in the spirit. The audience was ecstatic. I was ecstatic. Many of our friends were in the audience. One family drove for 2 1/2 hours to hear Luke's concert and they had to drive home after the concert. They know that Luke's music comes from a sacred space, and they love to witness it.
I know I witnessed a miracle tonight. God's healing power is amazing.
