miracles Project

This is my first blog experience.  I'm not sure what the rules are.  Maybe I'll make them up as I go along.

My passion is the magic at the heart of the world. My granddaughter's impish smile.  Music. My husband's cool Kangol hat collection.  When my grandkids said "Gramma" for the first time.  A little yellow flower hiding in the grass.  I love the way grass blows in the wind and the variety of colors in a field.  For me,  behind the magic is the Divine.  A higher power that shines through the sun and tastes like morning coffee,  and weight- watcher's ice cream--yummy but not fattening.

One of my dreams is that every person can be happy,  can enjoy the gifts that their unique life presents to them.  That every one has somewhere to go with their fears and challenges, that is beyond science and what everyone says is possible.   I'd like everyone to be able to  create the things that they need and want--from a healing to a beautiful,  perfect relationship, to a new career that they didn't believe they had a chance for.  For everyone to create a new day in their lives and to help others to do the same.

Miracles come in all sizes.  I think that the sun is a huge miracle.  When I wake up and see the rays of the sun coming in my window,  I feel a wash of gratitude.  What if there was no sun???? I am also awed by the miracles that save lives and show us that someone out there loves us--even when we are unlovable.

I'm working with a group of talented writers,  and we're on a two year journey to interview people around the country and around the world who have experienced miracles--dramatic and otherwise.  Our goal is to create a documentary film that uplifts people and gives them hope.

Blessings,

Willow

Go, Willow! I too have experienced the miracles of daily life (ice cream being a major recurring theme), from my kids' sweet hugs to the gentle last-gasp of summer breezes or traces of rainbow in the sky that just remind us there's a higher power making the world go 'round. Good luck with your project.

Hm, miracles. They don't just come in all sizes (or shapes, for that matter) but also in so many different facets. I always felt that miracles work from the inside out - something inside is realized, and opens up to where the world can see it. Blessings from heaven may be nice, but the deepest miracles aren't material, or even situational; they begin and end with the inner being.

I hope we can explore that in this project.

This my first blog experience also. If there are rules, I am not informed. Most of the time my life seems like a miracle. The time I spend with my best friend and the life I never knew I would have. To be chosen by Love. Well there is no way to explain that. Perhaps I will ponder and write again.

A Haiku:

Our stocks and bonds fall
Like brown leaves in the autumn.
The money has dried.

We really need a miracle now!
