Last night Luke (my husband) had leg cramps and neither one of us slept well or for long.  He got up very early to play in the church orchestra.  When he left the house,  I fell asleep and woke up with one hour to shower, exercise, get dressed  and eat breakfast.  I usually take 3 or so hours to accomplish these tasks ( along with daily prayer).  So . . .  what to leave out???? And could I make it at all?  Willow is not a morning person.

I decided to shower and eat a fast breakfast--cheese toast and coffee.  Coffee is always my miracle and my gift from the Divine.  My coffee is delicious.  When I take the first swallow,  all is right with the world or at the least much,  much better.  Coffee with organic half and half,  very sweet.

A gloomy feeling dogged me.  Thinking about my friend.  She is in a great state mentally and spiritually.  Hummm.  Isn't her state a miracle considering?  Shouldn't I honor it and feel uplifted.  The grateful feelings didn't come right away,  but now they are seeping in like sunshine on a cloudy day.  I prayed with Pastor for her well being and for her family.

Then I went to work.  Usually I make lunch and have a snack first,  but we're having a major sale so I went right in.  Ugg.  Not my fav way to start the day.  I work in a health food store.  There is no lack of excellent food there,  but I don't always want excellent food.

Sale days are exciting.  Lots of people come in.  Often people that I know.  Mary-Kate does not work on Sunday.  She came in for the sale.  I'm too tired to enjoy her company.

After work,  Luke and I went to our son-in-law's birthday party.   Little Noah was in a terrible mood.  I could hear him howling as I opened the door.   His family just moved from out of state.  He's upset and tired,  also adorable.  His mom and dad took him home.   Dinner was good.  I passed on birthday cake.  Instead had the diet dessert I brought.  Yay me.  Son-in-law loved his gift.  Lots of fun and funny cards.

Granddaughter,  16,  spent time with us instead of going upstairs to text her friends.  A sweet miracle.  We talked and saw her pictures.  A sweet and beautiful girl.
