Luke woke me up with good news weather wise. Unseasonable warm. I wore a summer shirt and felt perfectly comfortable. Keep those warm sunny days coming on.
After the usual morning, I taught a student by phone. The lesson went very well. I'm always thrilled when the spirit of God comes through and shines on teacher and student. We talked about the fact that you don't have to go to a special place to find your mission in life. You just have to wake up and see what comes about. We talked about no one being perfect. You can be yourself without guilt, even if you have an unpopular opinion, as long as your trying to do your best.
Then . . . I played word games. My sister, Tessa, is worried about a medical problem. I tried to support her. We both tend to be negative in medical areas. I'm working on it. Luckily she reminded me that it was Halloween, I had to get candy before going to work. So I made two quick sandwiches--for Velma and I and took off for CVS--the home of Halloween candy and a cute orange bowl to share it in.
Luke was a good sport and handed out candy. He has a lot of work to do, but was willing to do something to make kids happy.
Work was slow. I had to check in some magnetic jewelry and then find an attractive way to display it. I like using my artistic ability on the job. When I was finished, the display looked great. I rescued an old piece of smokey quartz that has not sold, and not sold. MKate and I worked together to show it's beauty in a better way. Now I want to buy it.
