I'm taking time to think of the "beyond science" miracles that I've experienced.  Even when someone tells me that they've never experienced that kind of miracle,  I don't believe them.  We are all God's children and He's there for all of us.

One summer,  when my middle daughter was an active,  busy two year old ,  we spent a month at the Jersey Shore.  I knew that the surf was wild and that I had to keep careful eyes on her.  I was on the boardwalk greeting a friend and my daughter was at my side.  All I said to my friend was "Hi,"  and when I looked down,  my daughter was gone.  I was terrified.  I didn't know what to do.  There was the danger of the waves but also . . . I started to pray.  And I mean I prayed.

People were talking all at once.  My ears were ringing.  What to do?  I was getting set to run down the beach and search when . . . . my miracle appeared holding my daughter  by the hand.  He told me that he was watching the waves when he saw my little girl going into the water.  As a boy scout he knew he had to rescue her.

But and I just realized this after 30 years . . . . how did he know where to bring her and who to take her to??? He came right to me.  Wow.

But . . .
