I forgot two important miracles.
I may have mentioned that one of my older friends had a health issue that seemed to be leading to blindness. We prayed together that the Saints would intercede. Today, her daughter told me that her mom's eye sight is coming back. I'm so grateful to God.
At my job, I was arranging a display of magnetic jewelry. It doesn't sell well and I've always felt that we haven't displayed it to best advantage. It was near closing time when a large group of kids came in with their mom. I suspect that she was a foster mom to some of them.
They were tired and bored but well behaved. One of the little girls sat down across from me. She looked about 7. She was so tired and almost sad looking. I got an idea. I had some extra bubble wrap. We would probably throw it out because it was damaged. I gave the little girl a piece and then I gave her brother a piece. They cheered right up as they popped the little pods. The pods made a merry sound. Soon most of the kids wanted to play. Eventually even the oldest girl, who looked 16, got into the game and began to smile. They called their music-- fireworks noise, a symphony of joy and fun. I fell so good thinking about it.
Sharing peace and love is uplifting for all.
